# Affiliate disclosure — PickBySpec

PickBySpec currently contains no affiliate links and shows no sponsored placements. When shopping links launch, every outbound shopping click will go through a PickBySpec-controlled endpoint, will be marked as sponsored, and will be restricted to an allowlist of verified merchants.

Commissions will never influence scores, rankings, or which products are listed. The scoring algorithm is public, versioned, and independent of any provider relationship.
